All rental tools remain in the property of Atlas Rock Bit unless another disposition has been arranged.
All rental prices listed are domestic prices only.
Atlas Rock Bit shall not be liable for personal injury or death of individuals or damage or destruction of property resulting from the use or rental of Atlas Rock Bit equipment. Atlas Rock Bit will maintain sole authority for repair and alteration of its rental tools. Any unauthorized modification of its equipment is at the risk of the user.
If a tool is damaged beyond repair, the “Lost-in-Hole” (sales) price will be charged. If damage is repairable, the resulting cost is chargeable to the user. Tools charged as “Lost-in-Hole” will become the property of the customer, however, if the tool is left in the possession of Atlas Rock Bit, then Atlas Rock Bit will only maintain the responsibility of the tool for 60 days from the date of invoice, after which time, Atlas Rock Bit will dispose of the tool as they see fit.
The machining of non-standard API connections, the repair of damaged connections, and fishing necks larger than 8” OD are chargeable to user. Atlas Rock Bit will maintain their rental tools in good working order and will service the tools as required. Charges for delivery will be at prevailing “hot shot” rates from nearest service location. Atlas Rock Bit will publish a standard, or recommended, tool list; however, we maintain the ability to market tools not listed as standard. The non-standard list generally will be price and delivery on request.
